I am developing a Win8 (WinRT, C#, XAML) client application (CSOM) that needs to download/upload files from/to SharePoint 2013. How do I do the Download/Upload? Hello People, Everyday a receive at my box email a link to access to a dashboards which are stored in a SharePoint. My question are: Can you program (C# ou Java for example) to download automatically that dashboard to my desktop everyday? I only now some taks in SQL Server to Get the file but it be complicated to configure. I found out that, at least for SharePoint 2010, there exists an application page in the Layouts-Folder called "download.aspx" that does (beneath some other functionality) that exact thing. After a little reflector digging, the parameter was obvious as well: just call it with the parameter "SourceUrl", like that: Whenever sharepoint saves a file there is a directory structure that sharepoint creates behind the scenes.
